Today the staff and doctors at Neera Medical Centre stood outside together to observe the one minute silence to remember those who lost their lives to Covid 19. It was a very emotional moment listening to the church bells in the back ground and standing together with tears in our eyes as we reflected on the year that has passed and how we have been affected.
I would like to take this opportunity to pay respect to all those I have worked with at Neera Medical Centre through this traumatic time. Every single member of staff has gone above and beyond their duty to cope with the ever changing face of Covid and put themselves at risk in the process.
I would also like to thank the patients for bearing with us through this time and adapting to the changes we have had to implement due to the restrictions.
With the vaccine programme being rolled out from our wonderful colleagues at Chadwell Medical Centre, Stifford Clays Medical Centre and the new sub hub at Hassengate; we are all confident that a brighter future is on the horizon and that we can go back to enjoying life as we knew it.
Please stay strong and safe. We’ve got this.
